Help Multiple SMS Messages

I get multiple SMS messages from one of my contacts. I'm up to about 80! I've rebooted the phone to no avail. My Network Provider says Samsung knows about it, but the Samsung helpdesk doesn't!
Anyone having same problem? Anyone got a solution?

Aha! I have the same problem. I'm up to 120 messages from 4 seperate messages from the same contact, I called O2 (my provider) about this and received 6 messages thanking me for getting in touch with their contact desk.
I've been told by O2 it's a software problem, but only after they replaced my sim with a new one, I was asked to take it in and they will give me a new phone.
Which network are you on?

Ah this is also happening to me!! I have been getting the same message from two of my contacts. I also went to O2, and got a new sim card yesterday. Didn't fix it. Then got a new phone from O2 today, thought it was fixed because now I can receive messages from one of the contacts, who was sending me the repetitive messages, but now I have just started receiving multiple messages from the other contact. The same message sent a few days ago. Really annoying!

If anyone knows the answer, please let me know what to do next! I don't want to have to re-configure and customise my phone another time!
