multitasking problems

anyone with a captivate experiencing multitasking problems? I got my phone last wednesday and shut it off every two days, normally because the phone gets really really buggy when i use the music player and do anything else, even something like texting. sometimes i will hit the home button after starting a song and it will stop the song and the player will shut down and the handset becomes unresponsive for a few seconds.

You can go into Settings -> Applications -> Running Services and close services that may be running that you don't need. For example, you close Pandora but it still runs in the background so you can close it with the menu.

Or, you can play around with the "Advanced Task Killer" app.
