Multitouch doesn't work on replacement Eris.

Got my replacement last night. After using it today i noticed that the multi touch does not work on any app or even on the home screen with sense.

Is there something I am doing wrong? Or just bad hardware.

Sounds to me like you're running 1.5. Who did you get the replacement from? Check and make sure that the phone has 2.1, or multi-touch won't work.
Menu>Settings>About Phone>Software Information. to find out what version you're running
Menu>Settings>About Phone>Check Updates. to update the phone.

Replacement came from Verizon with 2.1 installed. I can see the zoom out thing in sense when I hit the home button, multi touch works no where though.

Its a bug apparently. Restart the phone.
