Help Multiview side bar

Hi guys,
My muiltiview side bar doesn't have an edit button at the bottom like must I've seen around on YouTube.

It also doesn't have the little drop down option of choosing which screen to view in split screen mode?

Can anyone help??

PS its a UK O2 contracted phone.

mines a sim free one but although I have an edit button you can only move the apps around on the bar, you cannot add extra ones. Facebook seemed to add itself to the bar...

not much control over it

Are u sure??
I am quite sure I saw a video of someone editing the menu without the EDIT button...maybe from a settings menu...

I dont remember it because i didnt got my NOTE II yet...and I didnt bookmark the video :S

Also...on my side bar i have some apps DOUBLED...and it should have been my mistake....but i didnt notice when i did it...also...
I WAS SURE I HAD THE YOU TUBE APP on the bar...now i dont have it anymore...again, maybe i have deleted it by mistake...
so...it sounds like THERE MUST BE a way to set up the bar...

Cheers for the input guys.

I'm sure there must be a way deciding which apps go onto the side nav bar, as most of the YouTube videos have the Map App on there - Mine doesn't.

Anyone else shed any light on this?

I confirm other people has the EDIT BUTTON on the side bar...

I can confirm another one in italy...so its 3 :D
 
I am in Luxembourg and have an edit on the side bar.
In the sidebar is
Chat on
Email
Chrome
Gmail (even tho I have deleted it from the home screens)
Internet
Gallery
Facebook
Messaging
Talk
YouTube
Twitter
Video player
Maps
Snote

I have not yet tried to edit it.
Also I have not really played with the two screen option
What do you find the best two to have open together.

yeah i checked it...

I contacted samsung italy by phone, the girl didnt understand a shit...obviously...but she took notes, registered my issue with a number, and she told me they will call me back when they know more.

I am seeking other forums in the meantime...if i have news i will post.

For now...my suspect is that there are phones sold with a brand mobile company that has something different...i.e....the edit damned button on the sidebar...

But....the hope is: why i am so damned sure i saw youtube on my sidebar appz and now it is gone? We will see....

oh yeah!!! I had all those appz!
Now 3-4 got deleted...BUT I DIDNT IT...and, as everyone knows, i ve never seen THAT INFAMOUS EDIT BUTTON :D
 
Some custom roms over at XDA have the edit button added; I don't have multiview yet officially for my device yet (Canada) so perhaps the edit button is getting rolled out for your country in a future update, or the videos you have seen are due to custom roms.

thx chris...ive posted the problem in forums in italy...and everyone got the damn edit button...my issue really sounded strange for them...

the best help...was suggesting a hard reset :stupido2:
but i really dont want to do that...oh well...not yet....:smokingsomb:
 
I have the edit button but you cannot really edit anything, just move them across to the side and back again.
