Help Music app flaky with finding my songs

So here's the problem I'm having: I put 50 songs from 3 Artists on my Xoom, all in the default music player folder. When I go into the music player app, if I select the "Song" fibtee, all the songs show up, if I select the "Artist" or the "album" filter than it only shows 1 Artists songs or albums.

I have tried the clear data ootuon under manage applications to no avail. Any other ideas? I'm about to try deleting all the music off and transfering the music all over again, though I feel I shouldn't have to.

On a side note, my god the stock auto correct is horrible. Makes me miss my EVO's Omnipotent auto-correct...

Sounds like the properties of the individual songs need to be edited on your PC, before transferring them to the Xoom. I bet there are blank fields for "Artist" or "Album" in the properties. (Open the properties by right clicking a song in a Windows Explorer window)

I am actually very anal about making sure my mp3s are tagged correctly.

Also, the artist names and albums are showing up when i look at the song in the "Songs" filter.

Are there other tags or hidden properties? Is it possible that the Xoom is using properties that are different from those shown in your "Songs" filter? Sorry I'm not familiar with that filter - I just had the same problem when I moved mp3's to the Xoom, and solved it by adjusting the basic Windows properties instead of those showing on my PC's player app.
