Music App

So i have been using the default media player when i listen to my music. When i plug in my aux port into my car, my steering wheel mounted controls do not work when i try to skip the next song, i have a 2010 car so its pretty new, the volume works ofcourse, i just cant select the next song using the steering wheel. Is there a better music app that anyone knows of that will allow me to do this?

It sounds like your car is just increasing the volume in the car stereo and not the phone. Has this worked with other phones before? I didn't think you could control your phone with the in-car buttons.
