Music control buttons/toggles never work!

I designed my custom home screen using Zoo per widgets and its nearly perfect except for one annoying little detail!

A crucial element within my layout are the designated areas designed to house buttons and toggles. Three of the little circles are designated for a play, forward, and back music control buttons.

My problem is I cannot find any that will actually function! I've tried Widgetsoid, extended controls and a couple others and its always the same problem. I am able to place the toggles that the apps provide on my home screen, but have NEVER actually worked. I can't simply use any music player widget, it wouldn't work with my layout.

Does anyone know of a solution for this issue? Its seems simple enough to be able to place individual music control toggles on my screen!

Here is a screenshot so you can see what I'm trying to accomplish. I have the non functioning music control toggles in their place, where I'm hoping to find ones that actually work to replace them. I just know there has to be a simple enough solution for such a simple issue!
