Music control without unlocking screen possible?

When I first got the phone I could control the music without unlocking the screen but now that I have set up a connect the dots type lock on the screen I have to unlock screen everythime to change tracks etc.

Is there any way to control music without unlocking the screen first?

Download N7player from the market. Its a "3d" music player. Really cool how they display all your albums in the library. It also has a widget that lays completely over the stock lock screen when music is playing.

power amp can also cover your stock lock screen its in the settings and its really cool and power amp has a nice EQ for sound

I suggest Real Player. It's a great media app that has your pictures, songs and videos all in one. Also has a widget over the lock screen.

I'm always checking out different players, but I always go back to PA. I think it's the best.
Neutron Player is very nice indeed, for true audiophiles. It's too complicated for me, and has a problem downloading album art.

I tweak Power Amp with AudioMaster for truly even more awesome sound.

I downloaded N7 player and it had exactly what I needed. I also already had Power Amp so I'll try that too later.

just use the nomral music player that came with your phone, change the lockscreen back to the orignal slide up lock and there's a small tab at the top of the screen that controls your music. idk if it's on the other lock screens. i'm guessing not hope this helps.
