Music details problem

Hi All,

Just wondering why my note2 seems unable to display correct music details such as genre & some of the album art?

For example:
Katari tsugu koto by Hajime Chitose on my laptop is under Jpop genre and it has album art 600x600, 106kb

On my note2 it is under pop genre and no album art, while other Hajime Chitose song from the same album has album art (but still under pop genre)

Any idea?

ps:
im using 32gb lexar class 10 and I am using stock music app to play it

Update:
I still dont know what happen with the stock player, but then I decided to try to install Rocket player and so far so good, all of the album artwork embedded are on display, the Jpop genre is correct.

Most 3rd party music player apps are better than the stock music app. Rocket has good reviews and is better than stock. Good to hear you found one that works.

PowerAmp is the only music player I use. It's great. Try it out.

I've wondered why stock music apps put in place by Samsung, Motorola and others are not at the level of some of the players available in the play store or other places.

Probably due to those companies not spending as much time on the app as the 3rd party developers. Their job is really just to make it as user friendly as possible and easy to use. They don't really go all out.

Just a guess. Same as the texting apps.
