Help music doesn't stop when I take a call

I listen to music and audiobooks on my phone. On previous phones the music stopped whenever I made or took a call. On my Evo that does not happen. The same is true on the native media player and on others like Winamp. Has anyone come across a solution?

Have you tried to wait until someone picks up to see if the music stops then? On stock music app, when I dial out the music still plays while phone is ringing but stops immediately when someone answers or if I get a call, I answer. Try it.
