Music formats.... only mp3?

why can i only play mp3's on my gnex? on my desire hd and all other android phones ive owned play ANY format.

so why can my galaxy nexus only play mp3's?

I think any Microsoft format is out, like .wav

It should be able to play most formats perfectly fine, except for FLAC which is iffy at best in my experience. It won't play copy protected iTunes music though.

I dunno, but apparently Android supports it.

EDIT: Nvm, I lied. I must have been confusing it with my Eris which DOES have WMA support in Sense.
