Help Music Hub and 3G issues.

Hi all,

My girlfriend took out a contract with orange for a Galaxy S II on Saturday. She however having a few issues.

Firstly the Music Hub says when she tries too open it that it is not supported in your country, yet we are in the UK. Does anybody have any idea how we sort this problem out.

Secondly she has no 3G coverage. I have made sure that is is set up in the settings and also have data network activated by holding the lock/power button and activating it there. Again is there anybody that can help me with this?

Many thanks,

Maybe you need to check with the Operator on 3G service: if the network does not have 3G coverage in certain areas, this is bound to happen. To make sure you have connected to Data all the time, select "DUAL MODE", that way you will have atleast EDGE coverage when 3G is not available in the coverage area...

Where do you get dual mode? Its either on data or off data usually. That said, I am using widgetsoid where I can create a toggle for 2G/3G option. But I don't see that option in stock settings.

If there is 3G, usually there would be a 3G icon in the notification bar. Do you have that?

Menu > Settings > wireless & Network > Mobile Networks > Network Mode > Auto Mode
