music import and player

What do you use to import iTunes music and playlists as well as what player do you use?

I used Doubletwist on my last phone (razrMAXX) but it seems to be having issues with my Note 3 and KitKat.

Try using it to save the music to the INTERNAL SD card.

I did. I even deleted all my music and used doubletwist to export the music and playlists from iTunes again. It did fine but will not import the playlists.

for anyone interested Doubletwist is beta testing a new version that allows it to conform to KK security rules but utilize external SD storage. Should be out shortly, until then internal SD is working

I rip my music using iTunes then copy the album file over only the external card. I use Rocket Player which I find to be even better than PowerAmp (which I found better than DoubleTwist).

So, been using DoubleTwist with the new build that creates "sandbox" folder on the SD card as per KitKat rules fo about 3 weeks and it work great! 50GB of music on my 64GB card.

How do you do this? Just had to upgrade.

Yep, I'm using the new version also. On my note3 I haven't resynced to move the music to the sandbox folder on the sd. I did on my TabPro though. Works fine. And the stock music app still finds it in the sandbox directory. The only risk is that if you delete doubletwist is that your music will get deleted too since the app owns that directory. Unlike before where it could store it in the "public" Music folder.

After wrestling with the new DT I've decided to try another app. DT is doing crazy things to my playlists and importing music that was never selected. I'm looking at isyncr and Rocket Player now. Fingers crossed.
