Something similar is posted a couple of places but the threads look dead and have no responses so hopefully this can revive the issue and get a resolution.
G2 2.3.4
I have always transferred to the G2 by mounting it to my mac, accessing the media folder and dropping it in there. This has allowed me to play music on winamp and music.
All of the sudden this doesn't work. I can browse my phone with andexplorer and even open a file which plays in winamp, but winamp and other music players don't find them on their own and once it is played it is as if it never existed as far as winamp and the other media players are concerned. Even if I put the music into folders that the media player already knows about it won't detect them.
Have done resets but don't know what else to do.
What gives?
