Help music on SD card

I'd like to store my music files on an SD card and play them from the SD card. Is that possible? I know how to store them, but I'm not sure what I need to do to to play them from there.

Just use the music player app on your phone, maybe use it as a widget on one of your home screens. I use Power Amp also but I find the built in music app is fine.

No they are files I have on my pc.

Then the music player should find and play them no matter where you put them.
I use PowerAmp and I tell it where to look for mine, but every music player I have tried finds them.

The only problem with music files on the SD card is that if you have any playlists pointing to them and you remove the SD card, when you re-insert it, the playlists will have to be rebuilt. At least that is what I've seen on my Note II so far.
