Help Music pauses, volume goes louder/quieter

Hi

Its been a while that my Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, has been doing things itself.
Initially I had a problem with my headphones, a wire was broken causing songs to pause/skip. I found out there were Headset blocker on the market to stop my headphones from doing this.
But the problem wasnt gone yet, songs havent skipped ever since, but they still pause every once in a while. On top of that I had a whole bunch of other problems: volume going louder and quieter every now and then, my phone lighting up sometimes without pushing any button and sometimes my mp3-player minimalizes.
I already tried factory resetting my phone but it didn't stop the problem from occurring. I can't imagine any setting or app causing this problem.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

I would've suggested a reset but you've done that. Have you tried using other music players (I've just discovered Shuttle, it's great)? That's the only other thing I can think of.

I haven't, but I'm having the same trouble when watching YT videos or any other kind of videos and just apps in general. So I figure the mp3 player isnt the problem either.
