I've noticed that I get random skips or interupts when listening to music. Tried it on music stored on phone, SIM, and streaming. Multiple head phones. Multiple media players.

Its not horrible, but it's there. I also noticed that there's a back ground hiss, sort of like if you were turning on an amp with no signal going through it yet, when there isn't any music playing.

Is anyone else seeing this? If not, can you give me an idea of what else to look for?
 
Can't help with what to look for but I have absolutely no issues with the sound. I'm streaming music now and it is smooth.

I have noticed it as well. It only happens when listening through the headphones and when on speaker there is no issue. This leads me to believe its a design issue more than a software issue. It very rarely happens to me and the hiss is only present when no sound is playing.
 
Just a quick observation, I wanted to rule out something so I uninstalled MoBo Player and it's additional Codex. It hasn't skipped once since then. Granted it's not been that long, but this is a positive sign.

And no, I wasn't using it as the music player, I was using stock player. If I get no skips through out the day, I'll test the theory and add mobo back on tonight and see if the skips return.

Would be awesome if someone else who has the issue could validate it for me too.

Ive had this issue using winamp with music on my phone, youtube over 3G,4G and WiFi, and digitally imported radio on each est up.
