Anyone else having or had a problem with the stock music player starting at random and on re-boot? If so, how do I stop it from happening?

I don't have that phone, but I don't think that should be happening regardless of device.
Lets try to go under settings / applications / "music player" and select "clear cache" and "clear data".
Give that a try.
If that doesn't work you may need to do a factory reset.
