Music player - function of side button

Hey,

When the music player is on, the side buttons act as a volume button.

Is it possible to change the side buttons to track forward and backwards instead? Can a downlaoded app do this or only rooted phones?

Player Pro from the market can do this for you. It's not free but it's well worth the price....

PowerAMP is superb, but I don't think it supports this.

From what I remember, Winamp does though, and it's free.
