Help Music Player Interface

You know the feature in the music player that allows you to switch songs by simply swiping across the album art... a la cover flow?

Well, why is it that this works in some playlists/albums/artists and not in others?

I need an app better than the stock/htc one... and one that can read my on board memory is a must!
