Help Music Player Issues? Help Please!

I dislike the native music player for obvious reasons; thats a given. The DoubleTwist app I used as an alternative always worked well, but its never been too spectacular or anything and I'm sort of tired of it.

I downloaded PlayerPro and WP7 ZPlayer recently to test them out, and both of them are giving me problems. Both players recognize all my music but neither of them play anything. ZPlayer just doesn't do anything when I click play, and PlayerPro says "Sorry the player does not support this type of file" and closes.

Can anyone help / recommend anything / tell me what I'm doing wrong? All help is wanted and appreciated. I wanted to put this in the Captivate forums because I feared the Cappy might read different files and accept different applications than other phones.

By the way, I have stock 2.2 running (if that's relevant).

do you have the twitter app? there seems to be some pretty common bug with the twitter app on our phones that seems to render the music player useless, if you have it, delete it, reboot, and see if that does anything

Actually, I did recently dload the Twitter app.

I uninstalled the official Twitter app, restarted my phone, and voila. Problem solved.

Just in case anyone else has this problem, that's most likely your solution too. Cheers.

Man, I just had a problem with my captivate and Music Player- it would play then lock up. Followed the advice here to uninstall Twitter app and voila! Works again. Weird thing is, I've only used the twitter app a couple of times- I prefer the mobile site.
