I would just like to get a feeling of music players you all use. I stay classy with Doubletwist.

So many music apps, I just use the default music player.

Have they made it worldwide now?

Yeah but android is open source. Anyone can use it for free
And when i install the google apps package (gapps) the deal is that google give me lots of great services and i pay by letting them learn my habits and interests and selling that data![]()

Kinda, but for example, im using AOKP firmware just now which is based on google android. Noone had to pay google for that.
A phone will run fine without any google apps on it, you just dont get playstore, gmail etc.
Android is like a big open melting pot and im sure google use nearly as much stuff that has created by 3rd party devs like Cyanogen etc as devs use of googles. its a big open party. Even companies like Kindle can use android, google just dont allow them to use GApps![]()

Is that why you have to install an additional Google Apps when you flash a custom rom?
It's out there for anyone who wants to use it. Really the only stipulation of that is if you modify (and distribute) the linux kernel, you have to have source available
