Help Music Player won't work

My music player will not work. It works intermittently....it says error: unable to play this type of file. It also will not play yahoo music app. My music is all mp3 music on my SD card. I find it odd that it plays sometimes but not others. Also, my gallery crashes all the time and I have to remove my battery. Are these phones buggy? I just switched from and Iphone 3GS and really like the phone, but the bugs are getting to me. It has 2.2 Froyo BTW. I've tried updating through at&t server, but it says no software updates found. You could try a different music player. I really like doubletwist but mixzing and meridian are also very good. You could also try streaming from amazon. I really like using that service as a backup and if I want to stream I can. I personally don't like the samsung one very much but I have not had any serious problems with it.

My wife and I both purchased Infuse 4Gs on day one and have both experienced the media problem you are describing. The issue affects all video and audio media on the device. For instance, when the issue starts, even the youtube app will no longer be able to play videos. I've tried just about everything in the book with no success. I started doing some research about this problem and found several threads on multiple different forums and found a solution that works on both of my Infuse 4Gs.

Sure enough, I removed the official twitter app from both phones and we have now been going on two days with not single hiccup. Before, I would have to restart my phone 3-4 times day when trying to play any type of media. I have switched to Twidroyd for my twitter use and it has been rock solid.
