Help music player...

tried looking around but couldnt find what i was looking for/people didnt respond to the other posts...

so is it just me or is it super hard looking for a good music player...

currently im using cubed but i dont like it. people swear by it but im not following. its seems a bit clunky, it scrolls terribly, and i dont like the lockscreen controls.

for my question. i can deal with a music player like cubed BUT im looking for a music player with lockscreen controls that doesnt disable the timer/alarm notices. the lockscreen controls with cubed is $#!t. you press "unlock" even by accident and it unlocks (dont like that). and it doesnt even show you the time, so i have to completely unlock the phone and lock it again just to view the time. AND i cant see when my next alarm is going to go off. really inconvenient.

does anyone know of a music player that has lockscreen controls that does not disable the clock/alarm notices when you wake up the phone before you unlock it?

I use mixzing. not sure if it has what you are looking for but check it out.

I've been using bTunes. The author has apparently abandoned it and it crashes a lot, but it looks familiar to anyone who has ever used an iPod and it groups my albums correctly, unlike all the other players I've used. And the lock screen player works great.

So I tried using mixzing and i like it for whats it does BUT it does have a couple of quarks. A couple things I noticed...

1. When the alarm came on today, I snoozed 2 times, on the third snooze (when I wake up ) it didnt go into the "alarm screen" but stayed on the lockscreen control. the alarm didnt come on. about 4 or 5 mins later the alarm came back on. wierd.

2. when i receive a call it stays on the lockscreen. i have to click on the button "Exit to lockscreen" then answer my call.

unfortunately i dont think ill ever find a music player that will match my needs. I like mixzing a lot, but i dont think its gonna work out.

Only if it had controls like "display button to pick up phone on mixzing lockscreen" or "when calls come default to original lockscreen first and not mixzing lockscreen" THEN itll be golden for sure. :\

@facelessrebel I heard a lot about that player, but i think i saw it on the market for $2. i saw the comments and i dont think i can go with an app that does not have support. although, i have heard many many good things about it, i just dont think i go with it.
