Help Music Playing Choppy

Pandora and Slacker seem to play totally fine, but it seems like every other time I use the stock music app, the songs become really choppy and staticy. A quick power on & off seems to fix it. But now that its happened multiple times I'm starting to lose patience. Anyone else having this issue?

Sometimes the old tried and true cache and data clearing in the music apps along with a reboot will remedy those issues.

Backup your tunes first, of course. ;)

That's funny, I seem to have the issue with Pandora.. well I haven't had it since 4.0.4 but I had it a bit during the first month (and I only seemed to get it when I would play it through my car AUX port).

I just got my Nexus last week and promptly dumped 9 gig of music on it (I work in basement, barely get 3G signal).

I'm using PlayerPro, same app I used on my DX, but my music sounds choppy. Not sure if it's the app, the files, or the phone. I'll try the local files in Google Music to see if that makes a difference.

Side note relating to my music files: I created a .nomedia file in the root of my Music folder (//Media/Music) but the Photo Gallery still adds the album covers to the gallery. Any ideas how I can get these removed?
