Music/Ringtone When Charging

I'm sorry if this is an idiotic question..

When I'm charging my phone, it doesn't see my memory card, so when the phone rings while it's being charged, I don't get the song I chose as my ringtone (which is stored on the memory card) but rings with a default standard tone. Is this normal? Is there any way I can fix/change this? Is it a bug or glitch or is this normal?

Well, never mind. That only happens when I connect it to my PC to charge. When I plug it into the wall, I don't have that problem.

When you mount your sd card on your pc, its not accessible to the phone. So you can charge with the pc and still keep your sd ringtone as long as you don't mount the sd card.
