Music/SD card issues

Hello all
I recently got a g3 and used a otg cable to put music on my sd card. Neither the LG must player or doubletwist app will read the music i put o the card. When I transfer music via wifi with Send Anywhere the music appears. I'd prefer to do it with the cable though. Any suggestions?

Did the Send Anywhere software create a specific folder your music was transferred to? I'm not sure if it's really necessary but I always create a folder called Music on my cards before transferring any tunes.

No, the send anywhere app put the music on my internal storage.
