Any way to stop this. Id like the music to keep playing whether head phones are plugged in or not. I connect the phone to my car stereo and when I place the phone down the slightest movement knocks the cord loose and I have to go turn my screen on again, find the song, press play, all while driving.

Obviously, you've got either a bad cord or a bad connector in the phone or radio. Not sure which. I would avoid cycling the connector in the phone or the radio as much as possible.
Option: start using BT. You can get a BT receiver for as little as $18 off eBay (search for A2DP Audio Receiver). Then, don't look back.

Each of my apps - like PowerAmp and Sky.Fm - have settings for headset connections. I had the same problem when I was in my car. It would turn off every time I unplugged it. The headset connections setting allowed me to change the setting to make it continue to play when the headset is unplugged. I also changed it so that PowerAmp didn't automatically start when I plugged my headset in. THAT was annoying.
So check that out, too. But I agree, if your cable is falling out all the time, you should try another cable.

You need to answer two questions.
What app are you using for music?
What ROM are you using?
The standard music app.
It might be the cord, I was wiggling my sennheiser ear buds cord, twisting, slight tug and the music kept playing. I have a male to male cord for my car stereo, it was a cheap $2 cord so it might just be the cord. Its not like the plug falls completely out, but 1/2 a cm or slight wiggle and the music stops
