It used to be a simple case of creating a folder in my music section of phone and dragging from iTunes on my computer into it..but this is not working anymore..the computer says the files are being transferred but they dont appear on my phone when i unmount the sd card..does anyone know what is going on here?

Which app do you use to play music? Also, are you rooted/changed rom? And what file format is the music you're transferring over?
Not having a pop at Apple, but generally speaking I steer clear as they don't always lend themselves to any other platform other than Apple and it can be a farce to get these working harmoniously.
