Help Music Unlimited - starting up with phone suddenly...why?!

I don't use the bundled app from Sony "Music Unlimited" and I can't uninstall it, but it's suddenly started starting up with my phone. I'm wondering if it can be disabled as it's really annoying. Any ideas?

That's really weird, on the market there are apps that can stop apps starting up.
But, I don't know if they require root.

Thanks for the reply. It is indeed strange, I think it has started happening since there was an update to the app installed in the Play Store. I wish I could just remove it but I don't want to root yet. So frustrating, having bloatware installed.

Yes they require root because to stop am app from starting up, is basically freezing or removing a service and services are system applications that do not have a user interface that are capable of running for very long times.

If you are running on the latest firmware you should be able to disable it even though you can't uninstall it.
