Must have apps

Y5 Battery Saver, similar to locale but much simpler and does not require gps, it automatically remembers where you have connected to wifi and turns your wifi on and off accordingly. To set a new location you just manually turn your wifi on, connect to the access point and the app remembers it, simple.

Dolphin Browser Currently my browser of choice, double tap brings up the address bar, tabs (yes you can have multiple pages open), and notification bar. Only downside is no pinch to zoom instead a screen press brings up 4 options including zoom/pan.

CacheMate Clears all your caches from the browser, Market, maps, etc with one press. Rooted only.

Bump Same app as from the Iphone advert, will transfer contacts with the iphone and android with a bump.

Speed Test Test the speed of your connection, wifi or 3g.

MarketEnabler Allows you to use the USA market or any other to download apps that are not available in the UK. Rooted only, available on the web not on Market.

Live Bookmarks Creates a live folder for your bookmarks. I prefer this to the stock bookmarks widget because it only takes up 1x1 so I can keep it on my homescreen.

FeedR News Reader My favourite app. Standard RSS reader but comes with an excellent widget that displays the feed title and top three stories. You can have several widgets, one for each feed.

Can I give another vote for Live Bookmarks. I only installed it yesterday but it is so much better than the stock bookmarks widget.

OI Shopping List is another favourite of mine.

Cheers Al
