Root Mutli-Touch Keyboard

So I really love the Multi-Touch keyboard for the Motorola devices and I was wondering if someone had a dump of the /system files from a motorola device that they could use to port the keyboard apk over to the Esteem? I have tried to do it with the ways that I knew how and have been unsuccessful at doing it.

Have you tried just moving the keyboard apk to the system app folder and rebooting?

Yeah tried that.. also changed permissions in Root Explorer and still nothing. lol
