Help My 2 weeks old infinity lags ruthlessly

Hey guys,
2 weeks ago I bought my infinity with dock.
At first everything was working smooth and lightning fast, but at some point I realized it's beggining to get muddy and hangy.
Especially the stock browser was laging, freezing up and poping up ANR dialog all the time so I changed it to Dolphin.
During first 2 hour everytihng was fine, but than my tablet spontaneously rebooted and then everything began to lag here aswell.
Launching more than one tab in Doplhin and trying to jump from one to another makes the whole program hang for at least a few seconds.
Getting to see bookmarks takes another 3 and typing in the browser itself creates 2-3 second lag on every single letter x_X.

I've tried reboot, cold reboot, soft reset, erasing applications but none if it works.
I have no idea how to fix this problem and I've searched half of the internet for answers.

Also typing in any word editor programme using dock station keyboard creates 2-3 seconds lag on every letter making typing virtually impossible and unbareable.

What should I do now, guys?
Send it to asus and wait or is there any other option I didn't come across? :(

You can try a factory reset. It's a bit of a pain to reload but you would probably do one before sending it to Asus, anyways.

Just finished doing it.
It doesn't seem to have changed anything.
Typing in dolphin still lags like hell...
Maybe it's about keyboard dock or autocorrect/autosuggestions option??

welcome to the fourms!!!!!!!!

try clearing cache for dolphin. since the small update we just had, my tablet has been much better. dolphin seems to be much more stable. actually using now as i type.

What small update? Do you mean firmware update? After clearing cache nothing changed.
I dont really know what this is, but it is quite similar to the office suite typing lag...

I used "check for firmware updates" option in Settings but it didn't find anything.
Is there any app that allows to mess with keyboard responsiveness or dock station itself?

Wait a second. Something seems to have improved with dolphin. it runs smooth...
However the problem still occurs with any given text editor apart from built-in polaris office.
The lag in typing is unbearable.
Is there any knows solution to this issue?
Typing on the screen itself with dock station pluged off seems to be pretty ok, but once I plug in the keyboard it all goes nuts :/

if i have not rebooted the tablet on occassion it can get a little laggy. but once i reboot, all is good for me. i reboot the tablet about once a week or so. i do not have any issues at all. is it only the browser and the office app? if it is across the board with other applications then it could be either your tablet or the keyboard.

i'm really sorry that you are having this issue. the other thing that might help is to do a factory reset.

Everything works smooth apart from typing words in both browser and office.
I already did factory reset aswell as soft reset and countless cold boots

hmmmm weird then. you know one thing i noticed was that after my last update, my keyboard was defaulted to the android keyboard and not the asus keyboard. i'm not exactly sure if that is your issue or not. so check your settings>language and input>asus keyboard.

Actually using asus keyboard option makes it lag even more in office...

Well...I posted a question to asus tech support.
Let's see what they can do about it.

Can someone tell me how to do a factory reset?

You might also check various keyboard settings. In the past I've found that turning off things like word prediction and auto-complete made things run smoother. Look at your keyboard settings, and turn off everything that you don't actually USE, to see if that makes a difference. Note that if you have different keyboards installed, each one will have it's own settings.

I already turned off all additional auto-correct/prediction features. Did you find any downloadable keyboard that works smoothly?
guy from asus- tech told me he forwarded my issues to some sort of supervisor and atm I am waiting for response.

The lag on this device is ridiculous! Is it the browser, keyboard, or something else??? When I surf the web on other peoples ipads it's so frickin smooth it makes me sick!
