My attempt at an extended battery case...

Here is my first attempt along with my first post. I purchased the case/holster combo from Verizon store when I bought the phone, and trimmed SLOWLY with Dremel and Exacto knife. I had an old Invisible Shield lying around which I used to cover as much of the battery as possible. My only concern is the thin piece I left above the volume button. I though by leaving it there the case would have a little more support, but if I remove it the case will fit slightly better. It will work for me until there is something available that look/works better.

On another note, what is the round hole/ rubber thing below the kickstand?

The Droid X holster works just fine with the Thunderbolt with the extended battery with a little bit of stretching the first couple of days.

My verizon store didn't have any cases with holsters for the TB, do you have a item number or link to it so I can order one? Your cut out job looks great!

Do you have a link for that droid x holster. I want to make sure to get the right one if I go that way.

I'm going to modify my Body Glove case for the extended battery. I posted a thread about the Body Glove case fitting nice with the active x holster. I can't believe these morons can't see the need for extended battery cases. First the DINC and now the TB. I love both phones but they absolutely need an extended battery!!!
