Help My auto focus doesnt lock fully

Hi i got a replacment triumph a while back and i dont think i noticed this till recently cause when i initially got it i put on a nandroid back up of cm7 i had before from my old triumph. So anywyas when i take pictures it trys to auto focus and seems to work but it doesnt catch a green lock (this happens with diffrent camera apps aswell) the pictures arent really blurry but dont seem completely in tight focus did i do something to mess with it or is there a way to fix this or check if its the phone or CM7? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

I'm fairly sure its a problem with cm7 same thing happened with the optimus v... What I hate is when it tries to focus and you can see it focus then it unfocuses usually when taking a picture up close to something...
 
I have used the stock camera, and the MIUI camera (from this thread) and neither have a problem getting a correct focus lock. The bars turn red when it locks for me, and the pictures are fine.
 
So they turn red for you aswell? I was just wondering if thats the the norm for cm7 or not? cause ive seen it turn green i just dont remember if it was on stock rom or not or if theres a problem :confused:
 
I don't remember it ever turning green on CM7. But it does "lock" and focus correctly when it is red.
 
Yea thats what im not sure about either I know it does that in stock froyo and it does seem in focus when it turns red but not in complete focus like it doesnt have a tight lock at what im trying to picture in more close up shots primarily. Can anyone else cobarte this or have anymore insight?just so i can see if its my phone or if its the rom? or i dont know? i just want to see if its really an issue.

Its the rom cm7 has always had broken autofocus at least with my Optimus V and now my Motorola Triumph... Although on the OV it was fixed so maybe if someone is willing to they could probably fix it for the MT. Its kind of sad but I could take better macro shots on my OV than on my MT. I've noticed when the MT is trying to focus it will focus for a bit on the macro shots but then will unfocus and take the pic.
 
Yeah, just tried taking pics up close and I'm on MIUI. It does the same for me, it focuses and then goes out of focus when it takes the picture. I messed around with the settings and still would do the same thing.
