My Barnacle Tethering wont complete

Running Froyo.

I follow these instructions:

WiFi Tethering using Barnacle Android App

1. Download Barnacle from the market and open it.
2. Navigate to Settings and SSID to name your network
3. Then navigate into Wireless Security, then enable WEP and choose a password. 5 to 13 Characters

4. Go into WiFi AD- Hoc and change that to Hero
5. Now go into both Wan and LAN and clear out all information.
6. Hit the back arrow soft key and tap ​

These are my instructions and works fine here, I would say to try it again to make sure you did not miss a step, there are also some videos out there also, you can Google them. but I got ti working on both GB and Froyo

Ya, Im folowing instructions to a T. Just uninstalled and reinstalled. Tried again and same thing happening. When its trying to finalize and complete it freezes up and then goes back to the main phone screen.

Its almost as if my phone doesnt like this app, cause as soon as its back to the main screen it acts very sluggish...like maybe I dont have enough memory or something to run this thing. Hmmm.

Just tried again while typing this and when I was in the set up screen trying to type in a WEP password it froze up completely. Had to pull battery.

My phone has:
On SD card-
Total space: 1.84GB
Available space: 884MB

Internal storage-
78.75MB

This seem normal?

Yep, looks normal and you have enough space also from what I can see

I have problems with that too, don't mean to thread jack you. After installing everything, I hit start, and it freezes.
