So I called Boost because I wanted to know what mobile hot spot was. It sounds like basicly someone can use some kind of code to access internet threw my phone if they don't have internet. Kind of like a router for wireless internet on a PC. They have to be close to you I guess for it to work. Example: my buddy in Seattle, WA couldn't use my mobile hot spot if I was in Florida but if he was in the same room or house he could use my mobile hot spot. You pay an extra $10 for this service. Does this sound right?
Then the lady on the phone said 4G wasn't throttled. I questioned her on that and said it was in the fine print(thats what I read on here somewhere), so she supposedly esculated my call and asked her supervisor. Got back on the phone and said the 4G was unlimited according to her supervisor.
I question both of these answers. Can anyone confirm that I understand now what mobile hot spot is? And show me any kind of proof (a link) that says 4G is throttled after a certain amount of use?
Thanks
