MY-CAST Weather is NOW available

IMAP is very nice and quick to load but its radar updates are even less frequent than rainy days at 15 minutes.

Really? On launch my iMap weather says the radar will update every five minutes. However, when I loop it, the time stamps shows every 15 minutes.

For me... the Rainy Days app shows TONS of virga. To the point that it was useless. You'd think that is more a function of the radar site though and the base reflectivity that Rainy Days is pulling their data from, however none of the other weather radar apps show those ghost returns.

Granted it is nothing compared to the 40 frame animation refreshes on Weather Underground pro. If you need radar with that type of accuracy to send spotters somewhere, you should be tethering and pulling it through a laptop! Then you get all the additional layers that are offered with the radar.

I know it sounds "picky" but when I've got spotters wanting to know where to be and where to watch and I can't be at my computer I need a little more frequent updates. Like I used to get on weatherunderground on my blackberry that I don't want to have to switch back to.

Congrats on a weather app that tells you what the weather is like now. I have had that app for years. It's called a window. As for the future weather when is it ever right? I would never spend money on something that I could get the answer to by Googling it in 15 seconds.

I'd just like to bump this and add the last two updates have broken it...completely.
All for a "Social" tab...?

I don't know what Garmin was thinking, but they need to fix this or provide refunds. It USED to be superb...now it plain sucks.
