Im trying to use Unrevoked, and Im following these steps because I have Windows and need to install an HBOOT driver- public:windows_hboot_driver_install [RootWiki] . But I cant find the driver in the spot I placed it for the step where I have to browse for the software. Am I doing this wrong and is there a different way to get Unrevoked to work for my Incredible through a Windows PC? Overall HOW DO I ROOT MY DINC WITH A WINDOWS PC?
--OK I got the driver to show, but now when i try to open unrevoked, its just 'waiting for device, plug in now and enable USB debugging, make sure HTC Sync is not installed.' Do I need to remain in HBOOT mode in order to continue? And how do i know HTC Sync isnt active?
