Help My Contacts Not Getting Synced to Gmail...?

[Papaniz]

Hi there,

I'm having problems with the automatic Google syncing. I went onto my Gmail today and noticed I only had two contacts from my Android phone onto my Gmail account. Why is this happening? I have more then two contacts and want all of them synced properly. How do I fix this? Is there a program that will help me sync my contacts to my Gmail? Thanks for the help.

make sure you have 3G/ WiFi on.
Go to Settings > Accounts & sync, make sure your Google account is there. > Auto-sync checked then click Sync all just to check.
hope that helps

Do my contacts need to have Gmail accounts? Because all I have on there is their Hotmail accounts, which most to probably all of them have and their phone numbers, the contacts are still not syncing with Gmail, and I checked auto sync, but still no luck. I don't know how those two contacts got in Gmail because they are the same as others. Do I have to link them to Google?
