My Droid Is Now A Worthless Paperweight!

I was reading on this because we were in an area that may also be affected by this transaction also. From what I read when Verizon bought out Alltel the government said that they would eventually have to sell off some of the US Cellular and Unicell customers that they got during that transaction. There was a bid submitted by various cellular companies and AT&T had the highest bid to acquire these contracts. What also happened is that AT&T will also acquire some of the cell towers that Verizon had gotten from that transaction also and that is why some of the Verizon customers will have to get different phones and be converted over to AT&T because the two companies don't use the same technology with their devices. I was really worried that we would have to be switched over also but we are the lucking ones that will be able to stay with Verizon for now at least.
