My Droid's Bug List...

In order of seriousness, here we go....

1) I still must press my phone firmly against my face just for people to hear me.
2) No audio after headphones. Sporadically.
3) Can't hear a caller after unplugging headphones. Sporadically.
4) Crackling in high notes in music player via headphone jack (to multiple sources). Fairly consistently.
5) Music player randomly stops outputting audio. Sparingly

I've heard number one quite a lot, there's a huge thread about it at Motorola site. My UK milestone is the same. Interestingly the problem vanishes when you use something like Skype. I think it has something to do with noise cancelling.

I've had a couple of droids. This one is not defective. Same problems as the rest. Hopefully 2.1 fixes some of these problems

hmm i have one of my own to add. The phone switching itself off! Went to make a call on it this morning and it was completely dead (battery was fully charged). After a search on google it seems that is also a problem that has affected quite a lot of people. :/

I had this one as well. Exactly as you described. After the <sarcasm> "very knowledgeable" </sarcasm> Verizon store worker preached to me about task killer, etc. he finally gave me a replacement battery. This was about a month ago and I haven't had any problems since.

I have problems with #3 as well....Very annoying.
#4 I have this problem..
#5 My music player will turn on party shuffle when I set my phone down.
My orientation has serious lag issues and I have to shake the phone sometimes to correct itself.

I went to Verizon today and of course my phone wouldn't duplicate.
I had the option of a different phone or wait until the update in late March that will cover a lot of these issues (according to rep) I'm going to wait and see, or until it I get to the point of throwing my Droid at the wall.

Yeah, I've had the headphone problems. I've exchanged five Droids because of the headphone/earpiece thing . They all start doing it eventually. I listen to a lot of audio, so this has been a big annoyance. I'm currently selling the Droid. Its weird that Moto would cheap our on this part.

2 and 3 have been happening lately. I've had it since 1rst of December and just started doing this. Happened about 4 times last week.

Think it is software or headphone jack problem?
