Help My Emails Disappear

I've been having a weird issue lately. It has only happened with my Yahoo email (I have Yahoo, Verizon, gmail and a work exchange email all coming in).

Anyway, I'll open an email and start reading, after a few seconds, the email body will just go blank. I can exit out of the email and come back and it's still gone. I can read it from my laptop, bit from the thunderbolt, it's a blank email.

It's starting to get on my nerves.

I am having the exact same problem. Any ideas??
 
I am also having the same problem. It seems to happen only for my yahoo email. I removed the email account re added the account and then went to that same message at first message did display but then when I viewed it disappeared again. any suggestions out there?
 
hi everybody. there is another thread out there called Emails not coming to phone that details what's going on. basically yahoo has placed article links at the bottom of each email (shows as 'yahoo today (beta)'). i have no idea technically speaking why this is happening, but I know some people have already contacted yahoo and are awaiting response. in the meantime i would suggest using K9 or some other market app...K9 is working fine for me, it's just the stock TBolt mail app that's not.
 
I am also having this problem and so is my wife on her Incredible 2. Seems like it is always Yahoo that has issues with the stock email app.

I'm having the exact same problem on my Evo 3D with the standard email client and my yahoo account.

I'll open an email and the text disappears after a few seconds. Also having problems with the content of some HTML emails not showing up when I open them.

The email is definitely there, I can see it if I use the yahoo app (which I don't like as much as the standard email app) and I can see the email online. Hope they can find a fix.
 
FWIW- when I called HTC tech support, they are saying that yahoo is doing this to try to push users to use their yahoo mail app. Don't know if that's true or not, but that's what I got from HTC support.

They also had me change the URL for my in-going and out-going severs but no dice, still have this issue.

Looks like I'm stuck with the ugly purple yahoo mail app.
 
I went into settings, and unchecked automatic download. If you look at bottom of emails, you will see a box saying get remaining 2k. Don't click it, or your emails will disappear. So far, my emails haven't been disappearing, when i begin to scroll. Not sure if it's a solution or not.
 
chubby22, I took your advice and so far, so good. Going to try it for a few days and check back in here. That might be the answer! My email disappearing has been driving me nuts!!:)
 
I'm having this same problem. Just noticed if I open my Yahoo Mail from the mail icon on the home screen, that's where the body of the message is disappearing. However, if I go into Yahoo Mail from the app list, I see two mail icons, one that says "Mail" and the other that says "Yahoo Mail." If I click on the Yahoo Mail icon, the message doesn't dissapear from that view. Is this a Yahoo or Android/Thunderbolt issue?
 
I just added my Yahoo account again with the standard setup and now my emails are fine. I am also not getting that Yahoo junk at the bottom of the emails anymore. Wonder if they fixed it?

Glad it worked for you. Others have tried it, but emails were still disappearing.
 
I thought I had this problem beat a couple of weeks ago, but it just started happening again in the stock mail app on my Sensation 4G.

I've unchecked the auto download setting, and it seems to have fixed the issue so far.

If the problem persists, I'll try the K9 app. Thanks for everybody's help.
