I am really excited.
For the past two weeks, I thought my droid was a goner (I went swimming with it for about 20 mins). I tried the rice technique and thought it had failed, so I went on to try the rubbing alcohol technique, and after a few days in rice, it still didnt turn on, but i left it on the charger. And, miraculously, after a few hours I came back to find it...ON! Maybe I never needed the alcohol... but whatever. It works! The screen looks a little funny when all white, but it looks kinda cool!
If you have a soaked Eris, maybe this will work.
