Help My esteems 3700ma battery wont charge above 1% WTF?

My esteem won't charge above 1% WTF? Last night we went out and i left the lights on while charging my phone and my truck battery was dead and started discharging the phone. This morning i went to use the phone and was 100% dead so i charged it and after over a hour it only had 1% charge flashing. All indications says it's charging. Could it be the batteries memory needs recalibrating or something like that?

I would try a different charger first and then go from there

Try charging it for longer than an hour first.

Also try a new charger.

Finally try a new battery

After 6 hrs I got 37% and now it's all good back to normal but it still sucks!
