Help my EVO 4G is stuck on home screen,with only the picture and the mail icon in top lft corner.

I can't get my. EVO to do anything it's stuck on the home page with only the pic showing and the mail icon in top lft corner.Any help would greatly be appreciated.

what troubleshooting steps have you taken to try and resolve?

welcome to AF!!!!!!!

what happened? maybe a factory reset is in order.

power the phone off
press and hold power+vol down
select "clear storage"
and then reboot

this should hopefully fix the issue.

if you are rooted then there are other things you can do as well.
