My Favorites HTC Widget...agh HELP!

Hi All. Nice to meet everyone. Just ditched the Kin after 3 days of frustration and now running with the Eris. Whenever I add a favorite in Contacts, they dissapear and delete themselves as I enter additional contacts. Is there a "Save" key once I choose which contact to add to my favs? Please help.

If you just did the OTA update, you will need to do a factory reset. That will fix the problem.

Thanks! Will new OTA still be intact or wll I be going back into an old version?

Sorry, also, will a factory reset delete mt address book and can I do this on my own or do I have to go to Verizon? Thanks again.

OTA will still be 2.1. Everything on you SD card should remain intact, but you should back up your contacts just in case. You will need to reinstall any apps you have downloaded. If you have any questions about doing the reset, here is the thread about the process.

I am starting to think a factory reset would cure many of my ails to. I've never had to do one before and am not looking forward to it though.
