SO last night my girlfriend was driving, and I was in the passenger seat, and we were driving through downtown Minneapolis. I had heard that they are deploying WiMAX in that area, so I had my 4G on, and was staring at the screen, hoping for anything.
Then it happens. It said 4G network found, and starts connecting. Here's where I made my mistake. I suddenly and abruptly yell "OH MY GOD!!" She immediately goes into defensive driving mode and freaks out "What?!?!"
I know now that that was a mistake, seeing as it was in a construction zone, in downtown Minneapolis, at night where she isn't used to driving, My bad. She totally thought we were about to get into an accident, when it was simply my overwhelming joy at seeing my EVO 4G connect to 4G for the first time ever. I tell you, I almost pooped my pants. It was only one tower, so didn't last very long, but it was fast, is all I can tell you.
Needless to say, she told me to never do that again, and to put my phone down.
