Root My first android app

Great work man. I'm glad to see more work getting put down in our section (optimus m) .keep it up. When I get to my optimus ill check it out (evo on metro is primary phone and my 2optimus's are my toys)
 
looks good man, im prolly gunna try it on my gf's m since mines rooted already. Keep you informed ow it goes.
 
Question: where are the custom Rome for 2.2 and 2.2.1? Not everyone wants gingerbread ya know? Awesome program tho!
 
I used Java and XML... just imagine I did this with javaidedroid from Tom. He made it where u can compile Apks and code them from your phone.. I'm going to add more right now... ill do alot of work on it. I'll try and add pictures and more roms.. if people can send me all the roms ill be able to get it finished and working great...but I'm now using eclipse so ill be able to do alot more...:)
 
I like it. You did a good job on the interface. I am curious as to why you put the gingerbreak link in with the recoveries? Might I suggest a seperate category for rooting?
 
yea ill probably do that im working on more of it right now... instead of buttons im going to try and do a list view.. and try to add pictures of the roms. and thank you..i will continue it later computer is acting slow...but i will have a new verison of it soon.
 
Maybe this is a silly question but what exactly IS this app?

I am pretty new here and have done a few things but haven't yet worked up the courage to flash a new rom myself. Is this a program that makes that easier for me to accomplish? or is this for rooting? recovery?

Without screenshots or a written explanation I'm just not sure what to expect with the apk I've downloaded. Was it explained in another thread or in the original post before it was edited?

FYI: I am not able to download the second link...getting and error message from DB
 
Did you download the newest one from the other thread he made? Bsically it compiles links to all the recoveries and roms and all that other fun stuff :D there's also the getting started section which will show you a pretty easy way to get recovery and romds going on your phone :)

Could you or could he post a link to the post your are referring to. I went to gr's profile>statistics>posts but it for some reason was not giving me any results.

I downloaded the app before I made the above post (#12) but I haven't opened it yet. Not sure if I have the latest version or not.
