Samsung Galaxy S4 is a stellar (pun intended) phone. Another good choice would be the Motorola Moto X, which I didn't see on your list. There's a lot of cool features on the Moto X. The features are much easier and more simple to set up. It also is near-stock Android so there isn't a whole lot of extra fluff that can be confusing. If you're on Verizon, the new DROID lineup is the exact same phone, just that the Maxx has a battery that lasts 48 hours.
But yeah, the Moto X (and DROID) has an easy learning curve. My wife had a much easier time with her DROID Mini (again same basic phone as the Moto X).
But really, you can't go wrong with the S4, or the G2, or the Z1. All are great phones. I just wanted to throw you a little wrench.
Anyway, the best way to find out what's best for you is to go to your carrier and demo each of the phones. Or, better yet, if you have friends with any of their phones ask them to let you play around with it.
At any rate, welcome to Android Forums. Glad you made the choice for Android. Once you get your device, do be sure to pop in and visit the forum for that device for any extra help.
